We can’t believe Amie and Matt’s wedding is only our second wedding of the season!  We’re so eager to get this season started, and we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding than Amie and Matt’s!

Amie and Matt’s Vancouver wedding took place at the Ebenzer Baptist Church on Fraser St.  The church was packed with their closest 300 family and friends.  It’s quite evident that these guys have a huge social network and wanted to celebrate this milestone in their lives with all of them.

After a little pit stop at Amie’s parents house for lunch, it was off to the Olympic Village with the newlyweds and their AWESOME bridal party.  The festivities continued on at Kirin Restaurant at Starlight Casino in New Westminster with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony.  Haven’t seen this happened before, but durian desserts were served for the families that took part in the tea ceremony.  Dan surprised me by trying one, and actually liking it!  I, on the other hand, had to quickly leave the room ;p

It was clear that making sure that guests were having a great time was Amie and Matt’s top priority.  With an open bar to kick start the party, the evening included lots of people demonstrating for Amie and Matt how to kiss, several heartwarming speeches, a caricature artist, a photo booth and a chocolate fondue to top the night off.

Check out some of the top photos of the day below, and the full slideshow at the end :)

Congrats, Amie and Matt!  Hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon!

That’s the most beautiful wedding album I’ve seen Matt. You must be so thrilled to have been able to capture the beauty and wonder of your special day. I wish you both a lifetime of cherished moments like these.
