We were really excited when Madison and Thomas chose the Sea to Sky Gondola for their engagement session location.  It’s a pretty new venue and it was our first time checking it out.  As fans of the Stawamus Chief hike in Squamish, we were eager to see what it was all about, and we were thrilled to shoot somewhere new!

It was a GORGEOUS day and fortunately we were able to manage the crowd and avoid people in our shots.

Madison and Thomas were amazing to work with.  They’re so easy going and laid back, willing to do anything we ask, and so so photogenic!  It was the perfect evening with such breathtaking views and such sweet company.  Madison’s dad, a good friend of ours too and a brilliant photogrpher, joined the session to help and get some images himself.

What a treat, thanks guys!

There are many things you can control on your wedding day, but weather certainly isn’t one of them.  We all know Vancouver can be very unpredictable!  Ironically in sunny Tsawwassen, it rained on Brittany and Tyler’s Tsawwassen wedding.  But that didn’t put a dint into the amazing wedding day that Brittany and Tyler planned!  We planned out their first look and their portraits out very carefully, having previously scouted out under cover areas in the Delta area.  Umbrella’s were necessary here and there, and we scaled ginormous puddles, but it was great that Brittany and Tyler embraced the weather and went with it!

We had a wonderful time with Brittany and Tyler as they got married and partied with their guests at the Beach Grove Golf Club !

| ANDREW & CHARMAINE | Lonsdale Wedding |

Feeling a lot of love for Andrew and Charmaine and their Lonsdale wedding last October!  It was a beautiful fall Saturday and both Charmaine and Andrew looked so charming together.

While Andrew got ready at his parents’ home in North Vancouver, Charmaine had a laid back morning at the Pinnacle at the Pier Hotel .  It was there that Andrew and Charmaine tied the knot and feasted on an amazing dinner with their friends and family.  Since everything was in one location, we strolled around Lonsdale Quay for portraits, even being treated to photograph an old Jaguar that Andrew’s dad brought out for their special day.  AMAZING!  It fit Charmaine’s classic and elegant look so well!

Andrew and Charmaine’s wedding was definitely a highlight of our 2014 season – thank you guys for having us be part of your wedding!
