In the midst of all the chaos that comes with the Christmas holiday, we have not forgotten our lovely couple, Miho and Chris. Miho and Chris were married October 28th and had a UBC Boathouse Wedding. It was our first time shooting a ceremony inside that venue and it was probably for the best as it was a bit chilly outside.
We meet Miho and Chris last year and Lori and Ivan’s wedding. It was then also that I realized Miho and I went to the same highschool, but never really crossed paths. Small world It was at elementary school that they met. How sweet! They’ve known each other most of their lives, and have vowed to spend their lives together. Have a peek at their e-session at Van Horne!
The reception at Kirin at the Starlight Casino was to full capacity, there wasn’t even room for a dance floor! Half way through dinner, Miho and her mother, sister, sister-in-law and little niece changed into their beautiful kimonos. I never knew the intensity that came along with assembling a kimono. It can take over an hour! It is quite an amazing thing to see.
We feel very privileged to have been part of such an important day for Miho and Chris! Check out their slideshow at the end!
